KATS LAUNCH “FAN OF THE DAY FEED THE TEAM” INITIATIVE

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Kats have announced the “Fan of the Day Feed the Team” initiative that brings together fans and businesses with Kats players and coaches.

Each day during and after team practice sessions this season at F&M Bank Arena, the Fan of the Day plus a guest will have direct access to practice that day, meet and greet with coaches and players and eat with the team following practice.

“This is an innovative way to allow fans more access to Kats players, coaches and staffers during and after the team’s practice sessions,” Kats Chief Operating Officer and Partner Greg Pogue said. “It is important that the Kats and the community interact in as many ways as possible. This is a behind-the-scenes way to do it.”

The Fan of the Day to Feed the Kats will receive …

* Two reserved seats for a Kats home game this season.

* “Inside the Ropes” access to a Kats practice session (no cell phones

allowed)

* “Meet & Greet” with head coach Darren Arbet, assistant coaches and

players following practice with photo opportunities

* Meals for two with coaches and players following practice

* Social media sharing throughout all Kats platforms

* Free F&M Bank Arena parking and loading dock access during practice

* Two Kats Koozies

Total cost to the “Fan of the Day to Feed the Team” is $450. Fans and/or businesses can also feed the team directly by contracting an approved vendor to feed 35 players, coaches and staffers following practices.

“The Kats are focused on signing talented players who can deliver a competitive edge and compete for a championship, but success isn’t defined by performance alone,” Kats President of Football Operations Clint Gumm said. “The organization places strong importance on the character and integrity of everyone involved, from players to coaches and staff. The goal is to build a team that not only wins games but also represents the Kats positively in the community, with individuals who serve as strong ambassadors both on and off the field.”

The Kats are off to a 2-1 start this season and have consecutive home games at F&M Bank Arena in downtown Clarksville the next two Saturdays – May 9 versus the Oregon Lightning and May 16 versus the Oceanside Bombers. Both games kickoff at 4 CDT.

The May 16 Kats-Bombers game is the VICE TV AF1 Game of the Week. All Arena Football One (AF1) games this season can be watched at TheAF1.com – the league’s official website.
